Ruth Wang

Ruth Wang is the Director of the JURIST Digital Scholars Program in 2021. She graduated from Nanjing University with a BS in Computer Science and from Columbia University with an MS in Computer Science. She is currently a software engineer at Hudson River Trading, where she works on achieving ultra-low latency in trading infrastructure. Ruth is particularly interested in how old law applies to new technology and has done research on the evolution of First and Fourth Amendment jurisprudence in the digital world. In her spare time, Ruth enjoys learning new things. She is a beginner at violin playing and ballet.
